GYMGUYZ offers more than just mobile and home personal training programs. We strive to ensure your overall health and well-being is in good shape too. Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions. Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions or wish to book a free self assessment.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY – IN HOME PERSONAL TRAINING?
GYMGUYZ brings the gym to you! We will train you in the setting of your choice. It may be your home, garden, garage, office, or maybe a local park or swimming pool. Wherever it is convenient for you works for us.
WILL I WORKOUT IN THE GYMGUYZ VAN?
No, we bring all the necessary equipment to for your home workout, wherever else you wish to book your session. As well as a personal fitness program we also include the following three assessments:
We then continue to re-assess our clients every 15 weeks. Tracking their progress and ensuring we are working towards reaching above and beyond their personal goals.
DO I NEED MY OWN EQUIPMENT?
The great thing about a GYMGUYZ home work out, is our vans are fully equipped for a mobile personal training session. With all of the tools that will provide you with the most amazing workouts. We have mats, dumb bells, stability balls, resistance bands, boxing gear, body bars, pool apparatus, kettle bells for weight training and much more.
As a result, we can focus on your personal fitness, sports conditioning or weight loss in an environment that provides the most convenience to you.
Remember, we bring the mobile workout and everything included, so you don’t need to worry about going to the gym after a busy day. However, if you have your own gym equipment, we can still develop a fitness program for you that’s just as convenient, customised and creative.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WORKOUT?
Here at GYMGUYZ, we suggest everyone should be active during at least 4 days out of the average week. Our clients train with us between 2 to 5 days a week to achieve the best results. GYMGUYZ also recommends that our clients continue with a personal workout on their own, a further 1 or 2 days a week. It really depends on your goals and how quickly you are aiming to reach them.
WILL I HAVE THE SAME PERSONAL TRAINER EACH SESSION?
All of our home personal trainers are fully qualified, however you are more than welcome to request a specific trainer should you wish to ensure the continuity.
WHAT EXERCISE SHOULD I DO WHEN I’M NOT WITH MY TRAINER?
Some form of cardio fitness would be ideal. If you have a treadmill, rowing machine, cross-trainer or a bicycle, you should aim to do a total of 30-45 minutes exercise each day. While we appreciate this is not always possible, at least try to leave the house or get away from your desk for healthy walk in the fresh air.
HOW QUICKLY WILL I ACHIEVE RESULTS?
We find that over 95% of our clients achieve the personal fitness results they desire. All you need to do is follow the workout program that GYMGUYZ has developed just for you. As early as your first re-assessment, you should see a positive change. The average time to see results is anywhere from 8-15 weeks, depending on how many sessions a week you workout. Together with your mobile personal trainer, we can achieve the fitness levels you’ve always been wishing for.
WHO ARE YOUR CLIENTS?
We provide personal fitness training to anyone from pre-teens and teens through to adults and senior citizens. As well as sports conditioning for athletes, exercises for prenatal and postnatal women, corporate clients, group workouts and physical rehabilitation clients.
THIS SERVICE SOUNDS AMAZING – CAN YOU COME TO MY OFFICE?
Yes, your mobile personal trainer can visit your office during your lunch break, before or after work. They can meet you any time and anywhere that works best for you. We even offer corporate fitness programs, giving you a chance to workout with the whole team.
DO YOU OFFER GROUP SESSIONS?
Yes, group sessions are always great fun! You can work out with anywhere from 2 to 60 people. If your group exceeds 20 people, we will also ensure we send an additional personal trainer. As such, ensuring everyone has the best workout experience they could ask for.
WHAT IF I HAVE NEVER WORKED OUT BEFORE?
That is not a problem at all, at GYMGUYZ we welcome individuals of all fitness levels. Regardless of their experience, age or ability.
SHOULD I SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE BEFORE EXERCISING?
Yes, while we do indeed provide a free assessment, it is also recommended you seek the advice of your GP. This is very important to us, as we like to ensure all our clients are fit and healthy enough to continue with their personal workout.
